With our SonoWall sound insulating garden panels that reduce noise by more than 50%, we offer an aesthetic and durable solution for a quieter garden!

SonoWall one side absorbent:

This solution has been developed for noise sources from neighbours who are very close by or for noise in confined spaces, specifically to counteract the cathedral ‘echo’-effect. The absorbing side absorbs a large part of the noise, especially in the low frequencies.

 

The SonoWall 2 Absorb has also been developed for use against noise form mechanical installations, air conditioning and large heat pumps. An absorbing sound wall placed with the absorbing side facing the noise source avoids sound propagation and smothers sound in the acoustic enclosure thus created.

Air conditioners

The air conditioner near the neighbours' terrace was causing a voiding conflict. The reflective side of the air conditioner was facing the machine to absorb the noise of the compressor and fans!

 

In this example the customer resolved his neigbour's complaint by eliminating the noise reaching his terrace!

The train

Our customer close to a railway installed a SonoWall one side absorbent. The reflective side was directed towards the tracks and the absorbing side towards the garden due to the limited surface area, adding to the acoustic comfort.

 

In this example the customer obtained a noise reduction of 11dB in the garden.

Acoustic performance: Absorption class A2 according to EN1793-1.

The SonoWall with one reflective and one absorbing side has excellent sound absorption properties in the low frequencies (absorption coefficient of alpha from 1 to 500Hz and 0.73 to 1KHz).
